AgileBio Updates Lab Services Manager

Read time: Less than a minute

AgileBio, an IT solutions specialist providing web-based software for life sciences, has released a new version of its Lab Services Manager (LSM), a complementary application for its LIMS, LabCollector.

LSM is described as a dedicated interface for the management of laboratory jobs and analysis in a variety of life sciences industries, as well as in academic research institutes having platforms or external services.

The LSM add-on is a network based application that helps laboratories providing services to clients or partners to manage all their inquiries/orders and to keep track of all samples received for processing. Project managers and technical staff have a control interface to validate requests, follow in detail projects progression and edit results reports.

Built on web technologies like LabCollector, LSM has a dedicated customer interface where they can place requests, track jobs progress and download results. All steps of project monitoring can be configured and adapted to the lab needs and for any kind of laboratory services.

The new LSM version now includes an improved and expanded custom fields system, an improved results report formatting and a batched samples submission (sample grid). This new version also has a quick tasks overview front panel and a better operator assigning and tracking system. It is fully integrated into LabCollector, a collaborative solution that allows management and traceability of data and laboratory samples.
