Autoscribe's Matrix Gemini LIMS offers flexible testing tools

Read time: Less than a minute

Autoscribe has highlighted the potential advantages offered by the flexible frequency testing tools of its Matrix Gemini laboratory information management system (LIMS).

The system has been designed to ensure that labs can accommodate an adaptive and versatile testing regime in terms of the setting of the frequency with which each test should be performed on a particular product type.

Each time a product sample is registered in the system, a counter is incremented on the appropriate specification record for the type of product, enabling users to allocate individual test frequencies.

Additional options include the ability to ensure that a specified number of initial samples registered for a new substance are registered with the full complement of tests before reduced testing begins, a feature that can also be enabled if a certain amount of time has passed since a sample of this type was registered.

This comes after Autoscribe recently announced the commercial launch of Issue Tracker, a new software solution that minimises the amount of time required to document, plan and deal with issues, problems or complaints.
