At the start of 2012 the Saudi Ministry of Health revealed the signing of healthcare project contracts worth around SAR 3 billion.
The announcement underscores increasing local demand for world-class health services and is expected to further boost the Saudi healthcare market, which is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 12.3 per cent through 2015 at a spending value of over SAR 26 billion.

The corTTex® platform is an Integrated Hospital Management Information System Environment that combines Computer Medicine, Information Processing, Resource Planning, Data Communication, and Clinical Systems technologies to form a unique solution to everyday problems of Health and Patient Care organizations.
It is designed to reduce costs associated with medical center operation diagnoses and patient treatments, improve onsite access to medical information, and improve functional and physical links between healthcare entities such as out-patient clinics, Mobile Rescue Units, medical centers and field hospitals.
