“We’re excited to partner with Heinz to leverage the ConturELN technology and to help them maintain their presence as an innovative leader in the food industry by enabling better, faster collaboration within R&D,” said Contur Software CEO Thomas Rozlucki. “The project’s implementation has been very successful to date, which can be attributed to ease of use and improved experimental support provided by the ConturELN solution.”

"The new ConturELN system will help Heinz bring innovation to the market quicker by upgrading the experimentation process across R&D; creating consistent and faster intellectual property protection; and improving access to research more effectively, leveraging years of Heinz science,” said Jim Matthews, Vice President of Research and Development for Heinz North America. “This solution also will help our R&D staff work more sustainably by reducing the use of paper in the lab.” ConturELN will be used by food research scientists and engineers, culinary technologists and lab technicians at the Heinz Global Innovation and Quality Center, located in Warrendale, Pa., just north of the company’s Pittsburgh headquarters, as well as across the company’s entire U.S. R&D organization in the areas of agricultural innovation, product research, consumer research, and productivity improvements.
