Ethosoft, Inc. has released Service Pack 2 (SP2) for users of its X-LIMS v4.0 Laboratory Information Management System. This software update ensures that users are provided with the latest software updates and enhancements.
Service Pack 2 features the new X-LIMS Smart Screen Technology. Smart Screen Technology allows X-LIMS to optimize the display scale to the size of the user’s monitor, allowing for more columns and rows of information to be conveyed to end users with larger monitors without requiring scroll bars.
In addition to the Smart Screen Technology, Service Pack 2 also contains over 31 productivity and feature enhancements and new reports for end users and managers.
In keeping with the Ethosoft design fundamentals of X-LIMS, all of the features provided with Service Pack 2 are completely web-browser based allowing for these tools to be made available immediately to end-users once the single server application update has been performed.
