Ethosoft Releases X-LIMS Version 4.0

In keeping with Ethosoft’s philosophy of providing cost-effective, comprehensive, and scalable Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Ethosoft has announced the release of X-LIMS version 4.0.

With version 4.0, X-LIMS offers several major enhancements including a new alerting engine that incorporates the use of RSS feeds making X-LIMS alerting more available and more efficient.

Also provided is the new X-LIMS electronic signature component providing laboratories with the configurable and secure controls required for approval, validation, and reporting processes. These are just a sampling of the more than 50 enhancements provided with the release of X-LIMS v4.0.

These new features and tools leverage the latest Microsoft .NET platform. X-LIMS v4.0 is compatible with the either 32 bit or 64 bit Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008R2, and Office 2007.
