Artel has announced ArtelWare v1.3, with a new feature set that extends the company’s rounding out of the comprehensive capabilities of this software for the its MVS® Multichannel Verification System.

Artel has been regularly adding functionality to ArtelWare since its introduction at SLAS 2014. This latest version delivers advanced grouping and filtering tools, enabling the user to compare liquid handlers by make and model in addition to comparing pipetting performance of specific volumes and target solutions.

“This function allows the scientist to fine-tune many parameters to determine which instrument and settings are best for the task at hand,” explains Tanya Knaide, product manager for Artel. ArtelWare also now enables the user to track the performance of the MVS Calibrator Plate over time, which is valuable in regulated environments that need verification and traceability.

Artel has also integrated interactive customer feedback communication into ArtelWare, enabling scientists to participate in the ongoing development of the software by delivering change requests to Artel as they are realized.

“This version 1.3 continues to build the ArtelWare functionality using valuable feedback and input from our customers,” says Knaide. “ArtelWare continues to help users turn data into answers.”

ArtelWare enables users to track and manage the performance of their automated liquid handlers over time. The software aggregates the standardized measurements from the MVS for all of a user’s liquid handlers, providing detailed, performance information and a new level of insight for the management of these critical laboratory instruments.
