Paradigm has introduced Paradigm 14, a solution designed to enable effective seismic data processing and imaging, velocity modeling and seismic interpretation. It includes features that cover the entire upstream workflow — from processing and imaging to interpretation and modeling, reservoir characterization, reservoir engineering and drilling, and data management. Echos, GeoDepth and EarthStudy 360, deliver high-definition images that enable users to see the smaller features important in modern reservoirs.

These capabilities reduce risk, overcoming acquisition limitations in seismic surveys by mathematically regularizing sources and sensors into a desirable geometry with 5-D data reconstruction; enhancing fracture determination from seismic data with improved full azimuth imaging and inversion methods; and defining geological features more precisely through more accurate velocity determination.

SeisEarth interpreters have access to a wealth of seismic inversion and data analysis functionality within the application, allowing users to define rock properties using seismic inversion, seismic facies classification and on-the-fly attribute calculation; to identify potential hydrocarbon locations with AVA inversion and QC of pre-stack seismic data; and to predict flow for well planning using full-azimuth fracture orientation and intensity analysis.
