Perceptive Informatics, has announced the next level of seamless integration between its Medical Imaging Tracking application and ClinPhone® Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) technologies.

The new functionality between these eClinical solutions, which enables real-time, automated updates in the imaging tracking process when an RTSM transaction is made via phone, web, or the Perceptive DataLabs® Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system, provides clinical trial sponsors with streamlined data reconciliation and site workflow, as well as improved data quality for imaging-based clinical studies.

This integrated capability allows the Perceptive Medical Imaging Tracking application to leverage study data, including patient visit schedules, demographic information, and statuses, based on real-time screening, randomization, and discontinuation events.

Through an automated approach, redundant and manual data entry is eliminated, saving time by minimizing the need for reconciliation while contributing to enhanced data quality. Real-time queries on patient statuses enable proactive, streamlined site and patient management.

"The greater convergence between our medical imaging and RTSM solutions is focused on helping customers achieve improved data quality. We are bringing more comprehensive real-time clinical trial data tracking to our customers for more effective decision-making during the clinical development process," said Kenneth G. Faulkner, Ph.D., Vice President, Medical Imaging, Perceptive Informatics.

The Medical Imaging Group of Perceptive Informatics offers a full range of capabilities in the application of imaging techniques from early clinical development through peri-approval studies. The medical imaging team operates globally and services a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, and endocrinology. Perceptive's medical imaging technologies are fully validated and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
