CRAIC Technologies has announced that it is now offering its rIQ™ system running on Windows 10®. Scientists use rIQ™ to intelligently measure the refractive index of glass and plastic fragments for trace evidence analysis. They will immediately notice a more fluid response, with Window 10’s newly enhanced stability and advanced memory management.

Windows 10® will further improve the usability of CRAIC's rIQ™ software with such features as better windows usability, multiple desktops and speedy access to often used documents and spectra with "Home" view. Cortana® is an intelligent search agent that gives scientists even more power as a fast search engine to locate and quickly analyze data both locally and on the web.

Advanced security options, bundled in Windows Hello®, add biometric security to rIQ™. And best of all, Windows 10® is designed to more efficiently use resources allowing for even better operation of CRAIC's rIQ™ glass refractive index measurement systems. "Windows 10® is a momentous enhancement for CRAIC Technologies customers" states Dr. Paul Martin, President of CRAIC Technologies.

"All CRAIC customers using our rIQ™ instrument with Windows 10® will find this new version of Windows® a much more rewarding experience. With the dramatically improved interface and responsiveness of the operating system, CRAIC customers will experience the benefits of this new operating system immediately. Additionally, Windows 10® uses the latest graphics API's which offer major performance improvements for many existing graphics cards."
