Thermo Fisher Scientific showcased a number of best-in-class instruments, consumables, software and services that drive advancements in global health, environmental and safety applications, including a new ExactFinder software for use with the company’s Exactive LC-MS) system, the new Niton FXL field X-ray fluorescence analyzer, and the new SampleManager 10.0 that incorporates 25 years of experience in process industries, including oil and gas, food and beverage, environmental, and metals and mining and leverages. NET technology in this latest release.

Features of the new system include key business metric (KBM) dashboard functionality, an intuitive user interface and a workflow for laboratories looking to standardize operating processes and streamline data exchange across their global enterprise.

Also demonstrated was their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enterprise-class LIMS-on-Demand solution that allows organizations of varying types and sizes to leverage all the benefits of an industry-leading LIMS without the time and cost typically associated with on-premise software installation.

LIMS-on-Demand provides a flexible alternative to conventional LIMS so organizations can more easily and cost-effectively adapt technology as needs change.

The company also featured Connects, a program that bridges the gap between laboratory generated data and the enterprise level information.

Connects is a set of offerings that leverage the company's breadth of LIMS and CDS capabilities, as well as expertise in enterprise systems integration to help streamline and improve the transfer of knowledge between laboratory-generated data and enterprise-level information systems.
