Thieme Licenses TEMIS’ Luxid®
TEMIS has signed an agreement with Thieme Publishing Group to license Luxid®, TEMIS’ award winning semantic software.
Under the agreement, Thieme will use Luxid® to assist in the semantic enrichment and categorization of its electronic content.
“Our electronic products already do an excellent job in supporting the specific needs of our professional customers. Luxid® will be an extremely useful tool in helping us to continue improving our offering in order to better assist our clients”, said Udo Schiller, Thieme’s Publishing Director.
“The partnership with Thieme Publishing Group further reinforces TEMIS' position as the leading provider of content analytics solutions in the publishing sector. The Pharmaceutical and Medical industries, as well as the STM Publishing sector, are important fields of application for our solutions”, said Stefan Geißler, Managing Director of TEMIS Germany and co-founder of TEMIS.
Geißler continued, “We are very happy that our extensive work in this area has received yet another endorsement following Thieme’s decision to license our technology.”
TEMIS and Thieme Publishing Group will both exhibit at the upcoming Frankfurt Book Fair which will take place in Frankfurt, Germany from October 12th to 16th.
