up to data Announces Availability of iStudyReporter Release 3.1 for Pharmaceutical Approval Reports

Read time: Less than a minute

The latest release of iStudyReporter, version 3.1, is now available from up to data (issued on 1 July 2011). Thanks to methodical fulfillment of pharmaceutical user requirements during the development phase, the new release of iStudyReporter offers a host of new functions and applications, plus outstanding user friendliness. The new release also integrates new technologies that are bound to become path breaking milestones for pharmaceutical lab IT strategies in the coming years.

The core functionality of iStudyReporter 3.1 is its innovative RemoteCollector Technology, whose so-called remote collectors now, for the first time, make it possible to compile master regulatory reports drawn transparently from various data sources. Thus the user can now generate a report that combines data from a lab information management system (LIMS) with data from an electronic lab notebook (ELN) or the like. The report compilation process is fully automated, transparent and reproducible, which means that the solution fulfills a requirement that is indispensable in today's labs -- namely that approval reports can be created with minimal manual labor, reliably and efficiently.

In addition, iStudyReporter's newly implemented Template Management function greatly eases the task of creating and managing multi-faceted report templates. Thus for example contract research organizations (CROs), pharmaceutical manufacturing companies and contract manufacturing companies can create and manage their customers' report templates with minimal effort. Other exciting features of the newly released iStudyReporter build include implementation of a rendering server, as well as integration of Microsoft Office 2010 functions.
