Jean Peccoud, Ph.D. is a pioneering leader in synthetic biology, driven by a lifelong mission to translate scientific advances into real-world solutions. He currently holds the Abell Chair in Synthetic Biology at Colorado State University, where he leads the Colorado Biofoundry—a state-of-the-art facility focused on developing viral vectors and gene delivery systems for biomedical applications. Dr. Peccoud has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and was the founding Editor-in-Chief of Synthetic Biology (Oxford University Press). He also serves on the editorial boards of Trends in Biotechnology and Nucleic Acids Research. His expertise spans both academia and government, having advised federal agencies on emerging risks at the intersection of biology and information systems—a field now recognized as cyberbiosecurity. To extend the impact of his academic research, Dr. Peccoud founded GenoFAB, a synthetic biology platform that helps life science organizations accelerate their research and product development through optimized plasmid management. GenoFAB bridges the gap between laboratory innovation and market-ready solutions by addressing critical pain points in biotech workflows. Passionate about integrating science and engineering, and fostering collaboration between academia and industry, Dr. Peccoud is committed to building new R&D paradigms that support the development of products that save lives, enhance food security, and promote sustainability.

Kevin McCann focuses on high-throughput LC/MS solutions at Agilent Technologies, including RapidFire and StreamSelect. He has also worked as an application scientist, developing and supporting a variety of LC/MS applications. Prior to working at Agilent, he was the laboratory manager of the biochemical genetics laboratory at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Archana is a product manager at Scale Biosciences, supporting development of new and on-market research tools for transcriptomics and epigenomics. She has held several cross functional positions across medical devices, diagnostics, and genomics industries.
