Lab-on-a-chip: catching molecular messages sent by tumors

Introduction of lab-on-a-chip technology, being created to provide a general platform for detecting extremely low concentrations of biomolecules released by developing tumors when they are very small, which can be 10,000-fold lower than the clinically detectable levels.
