Mammary tissue is made up of a variety of cells, including epithelial (pink), immune (cyan), and fat (black) cells visible in this cross-section of a mouse mammary gland. CSHL Associate Professor Camila dos Santos' team identified and cataloged thousands of human and mouse breast cells to understand the origins of breast cancer.
