The largest event of its kind throughout Europe in 2019, the British Neuroscience Association - in partnership with Neuroscience Ireland (NI) and the British Society for Neuroendocrinology (BSN) - is delighted to be bringing the international Festival of Neuroscience to Dublin, a city of culture, excitement and neuroscience!
Key features:
Nine world-class plenary lecturers are taking to the stage to share their expertise and most recent discoveries, including Prof Uta Frith, Prof Ray Dolan and Prof Anders Bjorklund.
A scientific programme including: 35 symposia, 500 posters .
Three special sessions and four workshops including ‘ How a journal handles your paper’and ‘ Safeguarding credibility and reproducibility in neuroscience ,’ plus four satellite meetings .
‘ An Evening of conversation with winners of The Brain Prize ’: join three of the top neuroscientists of our time, as part of the Festival’s lively social programme of events
Hosted at the state-of-the-art Convention Centre , in Dublin’s ultra-modern Docklands. Right at the heart of Dublin’s transport hub with excellent air, road, rail and sea connections.
And if that’s not enough, there’s also a FREE public programme of stimulating events and activities in and around Dublin! Including world-famous rap artist, science communicator, and award-winning playwright, Baba Brinkman, who’ll perform his broadway show ‘ Rap Guide to Consciousness ’
