To combat and ultimately cure Alzheimer’s, a collaborative effort from across science will be required. Technology Networks’ online symposium, Advances in Alzheimer’s Research, brought together researchers from around the globe in May 2019. This plenary features Director of Research at Alzheimer’s Research UK, Carol Routledge who details the goals and objectives of new initiatives set up to tackle dementia in the last few years, such as the Dementia Discovery Fund and the UK Dementia Research Institute, whilst also investigating advancing paradigms in treatment and diagnosis of dementia.
