Millipore Corporation has announced the launch of its MILLIPLEX MAP (multi-analyte profiling) portfolio. For the first time, two product lines, Beadlyte® and LINCOplex®, are combined in this single, comprehensive kit.
MILLIPLEX MAP kit displays the greatest lot-to-lot consistency with uniform analyte profiles irrespective of plex size, the company claims.
To verify this consistency, Millipore provides quality controls with each kit. Millipore’s standards validation process results in consistent standard curves across lots and across analytes. This is especially important for long-term studies.
Standard curve ranges are fixed for the analytes in a panel. Consequently, template setup for one analyte can be used with other analytes in the same panel and across different lots.
MILLIPLEX MAP provides all the reagents needed, including serum matrix, in an all-one-box format. Customers can choose from an analytically validated panel of analytes to create a custom kit, or they can select a pre-mixed kit.
MILLIPLEX MAP offers the broadest selection of analytes across a wide range of therapeutic areas. For the first time, a single catalog number provides the solution to multiplexing needs in oncology, endocrinology, bone metabolism, metabolic syndrome, cell signaling, and more, the company says.
