  • Parkinson's disease is caused by the death of dopamine neurones in the brain. Current treatments focus on treating the symptoms of this, but perhaps it's time we changed our tactic.

    In this video, I discuss current research investigating using stem cells to replace damaged neurones in Parkinson's. Could something that once sounded like science fiction actually be a potential future treatment?
