Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd has announced that the Australian Proteome Analysis Facility Ltd. (APAF) has adopted Nonlinear's SameSpots approach to 2D gel image analysis, by investing in TT900 S2S used with their installed Progenesis PG240 software.

Nonlinear claims that, the SameSpots approach achieves 100% matching across any size experiment with no missing values within the data. The ability to generate a completely matched experiment delivers 2D proteomics data with real statistical power.

This translates into major improvements in the quality and reliability of analysis results.

Professor Mark Baker, CEO of the Australian Proteome Analysis Facility, said, "TT900 S2S with SameSpots delivers an alternative starting point for 2D image analysis - offering significant improvements in image matching."
