Roche Announces Contest “Imagining The Future”

Read time: Less than a minute

Roche Applied Science, a business area of Roche Diagnostics has announced the Roche Applied Science contest “Imagining The Future”.

Roche Applied Science asks people working in the field of life science research to describe how they imagine certain areas of research developing.

How will certain research areas develop over the next ten years? This is the key question in the contest.

Out of the submitted proposals, a winner will be selected who will receive 10.000 €.

Five more winners will receive an award covering travel in 2006 to one of the scientific conferences at which Roche Applied Science is exhibiting.

Roche Applied Science would like to discover how their customers view the development of life science research.

People who want to participate should submit a paper regarding what they think lies ahead in life science research.

Where will recent developments take the research community? Participants choose a specific research area such as genomics, proteomics, or cell biology, and let Roche know where current research is going in the next ten years – from their point of view.
