Biomarkers and Metabolomics: Practical Implication
Poster Nov 02, 2007

Current presentation is dedicated to case studies and illustrates diversity of the projects. Cases representing different projects combine the same analytical platform we utilize for metabolomics study of blood plasma and urine. While pattern recognition presents certain challenges but rather ones that can be resolved, identification of low abundant unknown biomarkers is critical for the field and offers significant technical challenge in spite of considerable progress in modern analytical technologies developed for small molecules analysis.
RAMclust/RAMsearch: efficient post-XCMS feature clustering and annotation of MS-based metabolomics datasetsPoster
Chromatographically coupled mass spectrometry is a powerful tool for profiling, semi-quantitatively or quantitatively, a breadth of small molecules with sensitivity and selectivity.READ MORE
Functional Analysis of RAD51B and RAD23B SNPs using Circular Chromosome Conformation Capture (4C) in Human Prostate Cell LinesPoster
The aim of this study is to understand the mechanism behind the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), lying in non-coding regions near or within RAD51B and RAD23B, and prostate cancer risk by analysing their interactions with the whole genome using Circular Chromosome Conformation Capture (4C).READ MORE
A Novel Benchtop Time-of-Flight GC-MS System for High Performance Analysis of Human UrinePoster
A workflow was developed and implemented for the effective comparison of urine. It involved the preparation of stable compounds through derivatization, data acquisition using a high performance benchtop TOFMS, comprehensive data processing (NonTarget Deconvolution™), and quick retrospective analysis of rich datasets using Target Analyte Finding.
