AnaSpec Adds Z-Fish™ MMP Antibodies to MMP Research Portfolio
Read time: Less than a minute
AnaSpec has introduced the comprehensive collection of anti-MMP zebrafish (Z-Fish™) specific antibodies.
AnaSpec’s existing portfolio of MMP research products includes SensoLyte® MMP assay kits, GO™ (catalog) MMP peptides, and MMP recombinant proteins products. The new MMP products include a wide selection of Z-Fish™ as well as human-specific MMP antibodies.
Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are members of a family of secreted or membrane-associated zinc endopeptidases involved in both normal and diseased tissue remodeling. They are capable of degrading all kinds of extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins, but also can process a number of bioactive molecules.
MMPs are key players in normal and pathological processes, including embryogenesis, wound healing, inflammation, arthritis, and cancer.
