AnaSpec Awarded Patent for HiLyte Fluor™ Dyes

AnaSpec, Inc. has announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued the company patent number 7,465,810 for “Reactive 1,3’-Crosslinked Carbocyanines and Their Bioconjugates.” This patent covers the AnaSpec family of HiLyte Fluor™ high performance fluorescent dyes.
HiLyte Fluor™ dyes are sold individually and have been incorporated into AnaSpec’s other products including SensoLyte™ long-wavelength assay kits, AnaTag™ labeling kits, labeled primary and secondary antibodies, labeled streptavidin and labeled peptides.
