AnaSpec, EGT Group provides a wide range of GO® (catalog) natriuretic peptides for use in research laboratories.

Our selection of atrial natriuretic peptides (ANPs) include the biologically active 1-28 amino acid peptide (human/porcine or rat sequences); shorter ANP fragments; and Biotin, FAM and TAMRA labeled human/porcine ANP (1-28).

Brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) are also available.

Natriuretic peptides are a family of naturally occurring proteins that play a major role in down-regulating the activity of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system; regulating circulatory homeostasis; modulating cardiovascular system, causing natriuresis and vasodilatation.

There are at least three major natriuretic peptides that have been discovered: atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP)- secreted largely by the atria; brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) - produced by the ventricles and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP)- located in peripheral blood vessels.
