Chip-Man Technologies’ Cell-IQ live cell imaging and analysis platform is now available to research institutions in China through the ChiFi (Shanghai) Biomedical Engineering Company.
According to Chip-Man, this deal means that the Cell-IQ system is, for the first time, available to Chinese academic and industrial research laboratories wishing to study cell lines, primary cell, co-cultures and mono-layer tissue models.
ChiFi’s Charles Zhang explained: “We are very happy to be bringing Chip-Man Technologies’ cutting-edge automated solutions to cellular research in China. There are many institutes and hospitals interested in the Cell-IQ system, and we are looking forward to working closely with Chip-Man Technologies to serve these customers.”
As part of the Cell-IQ launch, ChiFi co-founder Professor Sami Areva recently presented a series of seminars in Beijing, highlighting the benefits of Chip-Man’s integrated optical and informatics platform for cellular research, and offering customers the chance to explore advantages of using this system for live cell analysis.
