Dionex has announced the release of the MAbPac™ SCX-10 column designed specifically for high-resolution, high-efficiency analysis of monoclonal antibodies and associated variants.
This new column’s nonporous pellicular resin provides high resolving power, permitting the separation of monoclonal antibody variants that differ by as little as one charged residue. Hydrophobic interactions with the resin are eliminated for efficient peaks. The column is designed to address the regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical characterization.
The MAbPac SCX-10 a strong cation exchange column is complimentary to the Dionex ProPac® WCX-10 column for monoclonal antibody variant analysis offering an alternative selectivity and will provide higher resolution for variant analysis of some monoclonal antibody samples then the ProPac WCX-10 column, the company has claimed.
The new column are developed for the high resolution, high efficiency analysis of monoclonal antibodies and associated variants and is available in 4 x 250 mm format.
