Oracle™ Microarray Glass Substrates Open the Door for Custom, 3-D Microarray Formats for Leading Suppliers

Read time: Less than a minute
Utilizing its new photoactive and bioactive ORACLE™ Glass material, Life BioScience Inc. (LBSI) introduces a new, high surface area, 3-D microarray substrate that is perfect for OEM’s that want to incorporate next generation capability in their diagnostic lineup.   This unique material enables nanowells, microposts, and microfluidics or optoelectronic microstructures to be patterned in the material using high volume processing borrowed from the semiconductor industry.  With feature sizes below 20 micrometers and unprecedented binding capability, early experiments have shown CV’s of less than 5% can be achieved in a repeatable and quantified manner.  OEM’s now have a substrate that is versatile enough for the most challenging applications and could open the door for new clinical applications.
LBSI offers full foundry manufacturing services for OEM designs.
