PTI Introduces New Infrared (IR) Heating on the Tribute®

Read time: Less than a minute

Protein Technologies, Inc. has introduced new infrared (IR) heating on the Tribute® peptide synthesizer.

This powerful new technology produces rapid, precise heating like microwaves, with the high throughput and scalability of conventional heating methods.

Each of the Tribute’s® two reaction vessels can be heated independently while running different programs and scales.

Simultaneous nitrogen and vortex mixing ensures even heating throughout the vessel.

The Tribute® can also perform UV-monitoring during heated reactions to control the length of the deprotection and coupling reactions.

IR heating is the most advanced heating technology for peptide synthesis on the market.
