An Antitumor Antibody Response to Attenuate Metastatic Melanoma in a Murine Model
These preliminary results show antitumor activity of adoptive cell transfer of MHC class mismatched CD4(+) T-cells. The finding of reduced numbers of pulmonary metastases correlates with increased serum anti-OVA IgG and increased germinal center development in the spleen.

Onchocerca Diagnostic Testing of Polymorphisms; Effects of Antigenic Mutations on Detection of Antibodies by OV-16 ELISA
Here, we have identified the particular polymorphism responsible for the loss of monoclonal antibody reactivity and investigated the potential effect these polymorphisms may have on the sensitivity of the Ov16 ELISA for the detection of parasite exposure.

Current Pitfalls in Allergen Analysis
DNA and/or protein based techniques are used for the analysis of food allergens. The advantages and disadvantages of each method need to be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be highlighted in the presentation.

Comparison of Normal and Asthmatic Bronchial Epithelial Cells and Smooth Muscle Cells in Monolayer and RAFT™ 3D Cell Culture System
The RAFT™ 3D cell culture system provides a valuable tool to investigate different cell types singularly or in co-cultures in an in-vivo like collagen based microenvironment.

Impact of Molecular Surface Charge on Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy Biosensing
Molecular surface charge was found to be the dominant parameter when monitoring protein binding events by Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy with a charged redox couple. A biosensing device was fabricated, and a physical model was derived to explain the results.

Microbial Regulation of IgE Production in Early Life
Changes in gastrointestinal microbiota have been suggested to drive the increasing prevalence of food allergy. Our aim was to determine the impact of mouse and human intestinal microbiota on modulation of allergic parameters including IgE.
