From Cells to Systems – Using Proteomics to Interrogate the Tumor Microenvironment

Tissues and tumours are complex multicellular ecosystems where cells need to integrate and respond to multiple, sometimes opposing, signal cues. Thus, in order to understand how cells respond to signalling cues, methodologies are needed which enables the interrogation of cell signalling within complex multicellular systems. Here, Claus Jørgensen from Cancer Research UK will present and discuss such methodologies and give examples demonstrating the added benefit of such approaches.
