The Road to New Dementia Treatments With Giovanna Mallucci

To combat and ultimately cure Alzheimer’s, a collaborative effort from across science will be required. Technology Networks’ online symposium, Advances in Alzheimer’s Research, brought together researchers from around the globe in May 2019.

In this plenary, Prof Giovanna Mallucci, Associate Director of the UK Dementia Research Institute at the University of Cambridge, will explain how studying the unfolded protein response (UPR) pathway has led her lab to the brink of clinical trials for dementia using repurposed drugs.
