PSVue®: Novel small molecule probes for fluorescent imaging of apoptosis and bacterial infections in vitro and in vivo

PSVue® functions similarly to Annexin-V protein by binding to phosphatidylserine (PS) biomarkers on diseased cell surfaces. PSVue® is also capable of binding to and detecting anionic phospholipids on the surfaces of bacterial cell envelopes. PSVue® is more cost-effective than most Annexin analogs, and it is compatible with many current imaging techniques such as fluorescent microscopy and flow cytometry.
