Job Title

Scientific Client Services Associate

Job Description

Scientific Client Services Associate
Creative Services – United Kingdom (Hybrid OR Remote)
LabX Media Group is a leading worldwide science publishing company that delivers meaningful industry content and integrated marketing solutions for the scientific community. LabX Media Group’s brands and product solutions deliver trusted, timely and deep information across print and digital products to empower our customers and advance their research.
We are looking for a Client Services Associate to join our team!
As part of the Creative Services department, the Client Services Associate will manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts and the associated content campaigns across multiple LabX Media Group brands. This role acts as a highly organised, autonomous operational lead—managing timelines, tracking workflows, and maintaining cross-departmental coordination to ensure timely project execution across brands.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Lead onboarding outreach, manage the briefing process, run kick-off/status calls independently, and maintain clear "next steps" using a standardised communication chain that ensures smooth internal handoffs.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from client onboarding to campaign delivery for assigned content programs. This includes tracking project timelines, dependencies, client approvals, and handoffs across the Content Studio, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams using our workflow management systems.
• Actively monitor project deliverables against contractual agreements, including gracefully enforcing the standard client review limits and managing the agreed protocols for delayed feedback, scope creep or unresponsive accounts.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Sales and Marketing to align delivery timelines with commercial goals, ensuring smooth internal handoffs and participating actively in planning sessions.

Experience Requirements

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related field) is required to confidently interpret technical client requirements and collaborate with clients and our specialised content teams.
• 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in client services, project coordination, or campaign delivery within science/medical communications, or a STEM media environment is an asset
Experience & Skills
• Experience managing multiple project timelines, files, and cross-departmental dependencies simultaneously without losing detail and separating "action-required" workflows from general awareness updates.
• Confidence running client calls independently, managing professional feedback, and representing the company as a clear, single voice of coordination.
• You quickly master LMG workflows and begin managing standard campaigns independently.
• Campaigns move smoothly from Sales handover through production to marketing activation with zero tracking gaps.
• Creative teams experience smooth handoffs and clear timelines, allowing writers to focus entirely on content creation.
• Project scope is strictly managed, and delayed client feedback is escalated early before causing internal resource spikes.
• Clients experience a friendly, structured, and professional onboarding journey.
Compensation:
• The expected salary range for this position is £34,000 – £45,000 GBP per year, commensurate with experience. The benefits package includes health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and professional development support.
Application Procedure:
This position is remotely based and is open to all eligible candidates in Canada. Preference may be given to candidates in the Eastern or Central time zone.

This job posting is for a current vacancy.
