High Throughput Screening for Identification of BMP Signaling Agonists
Conference Recording Jan 13, 2013
About the Speaker
Karen studied for her PhD at the University of Antwerp in the field of human genetics, and is a postdoctoral researcher at St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Her specialities include cell biology, molecular biology, high throughput screening, small animcla studies, molecular genetics and cell signaling.
Cell based luminescent assay has been developed for HTS identification of small molecule BMP-signaling activators, based on induction of Id-1 expression. Hit identification and follow-up strategy will be discussed.
