Adam Corner, PhD profile page

Adam Corner graduated with a BSc and PhD from the University of Leeds and followed this with several post-doctoral positions in the UK. After leaving academia, Adam worked at multiple biotechnology and startup companies, including Applied Biosystems, Ingenuity Systems and Raindance Technologies before joining Bio-Rad Laboratories in 2017.

He is a seasoned global market development manager with over 14 years of hands-on experience in droplet digital PCR (ddPCR). Widely recognized as a leading expert in both the technology and its diverse applications, Adam has been instrumental in advancing the global adoption of ddPCR across research, clinical and industrial settings – particularly in the field of oncology and cancer research.

With deep scientific insight into molecular diagnostics and a strong foundation in cancer biology, Adam has supported numerous high-impact studies and diagnostic developments in liquid biopsy, minimal residual disease (MRD) detection and tumor mutation analysis. His expertise bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world clinical utility.
