Arjun K. Venkatesan is an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology and director of the Emerging Contaminants Research Laboratory. His research investigates the occurrence, fate, treatment, and monitoring of emerging contaminants (including PFAS, pharmaceuticals, and wastewater-derived pollutants) to better understand and reduce risks to human and environmental health.
