Co-Founder and CTO
Assaf Kacen, PhD, is the co-founder and CTO of Promise Bio, a startup transforming immune-mediated disease treatment with advanced precision medicine solutions. Kacen's expertise is in bridging the gap between scientific research, technological innovation and practical applications, combining vast experience in bioinformatics, systems biology and data science. He holds a PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science, focusing on immunology, a BSc in Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from Richman University. Before Kacen's PhD studies, he served as the COO of Evogene, managing multidisciplinary teams in complex R&D projects and scaling operations.
