Bree holds both a BSc and PhD in Genetics from the University of Liverpool. After completing her PhD, she transitioned into science communication, spending two years as a science writer at an agency. During this time, she honed her ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging and accessible content for a wide range of audiences. Seeking to expand her skill set and explore a broader range of scientific fields, Bree joined Technology Networks as a science writer in 2024.
