Dexter Lutsili is a Pharmacology and Drug Discovery graduate and Scientific Marketing Executive who is passionate about improving access to career opportunities for students and early-career professionals across the life sciences sector. While at university, he founded the Student Pharmacology Network (SPN), a national student-led organisation dedicated to helping students explore careers, build professional networks, and develop the skills needed to transition successfully into industry. Under Dexter's leadership, SPN has delivered mentorship programmes connecting students with industry professionals, organised exclusive laboratory tours with organisations such as Charles River, and hosted career webinars featuring professionals from across pharmaceutical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial roles. The network has also partnered with organisations including Wenite to help secure over £9,000 in STEM career development scholarships and training opportunities for students. Alongside SPN, Dexter co-founded Bros in Pharma, a social media collective that works with life science organisations to provide end-to-end coverage of conferences, networking events, and industry initiatives, helping increase visibility of opportunities available to the next generation of life science professionals.
