Dr. Ben Dickie is a neuroimaging scientist with an interest in cerebrovascular function. He develops new ways to image blood perfusion and vessel permeability using MRI and applies these techniques to study changes in neurological diseases such as dementia and stroke. Recently, he has begun working on effects of radiotherapy on brain vasculature and is working towards understanding the role of neurovascular unit dysfunction in radiation-induced cognitive impairment.
