Dr. Ceri Fielding is a Lecturer in Virology in the Division of Infection and Immunity, School of Medicine, Cardiff University. He received a BSc (Hons) in Virology from the University of Warwick, which included an intercalated year at the Novartis Research Institute in Vienna, Austria. He then received a PhD in Molecular Virology from the University of Wales College of Medicine for research investigating an oncogene encoded by Epstein-Barr virus. His research interests relate to the interaction of viruses with the immune system, specifically natural killer (NK) cells.
