
Dr. David Riglar
Group Leader, Imperial College London and The Francis Crick Institute
David Riglar is a group leader at Imperial College London and the Francis Crick Institute in London. His lab is using engineered bacteria to better understand the interface between the gut and the gut microbiome. Before starting his own lab, David was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA, and a PhD student at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, Australia. Through his career David has received various accolades for his research, including a Sir Henry Dale Research Fellowship from the Wellcome Trust and Royal Society in 2019.
