He conducted his PhD research at the Children’s Hospital in Düsseldorf, where he established in vivo studies driving advances in the treatment of high-risk childhood acute leukemia. Before joining Miltenyi Biotec, Heinz was a scientific manager in the field of tumor genetics, establishing advanced molecular diagnostics for targeted therapies
