Ilona Nordhorn, PhD, is an Applications Development Scientist at Bruker Daltonics, where she develops and optimizes workflows for applied markets using high-resolution mass spectrometry. Ilona specializes in chromatography-based and chromatography-free techniques, such as direct analysis in real time (DART), for various applications in food, forensic, and environmental fields. She holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Food Chemistry from the University of Münster. Before joining Bruker, Ilona worked in a forensic lab, gaining valuable experience in the forensic community.
