Garry Pairaudeau is co-founder and CEO of DaltonTx, where he is building an AI-native, agentic drug discovery platform designed to transform how small molecules and biologics are conceived, designed, and progressed. Previously, Garry was chief technology officer at Exscientia, where he led a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 scientists and technologists to build the computational platforms that enabled AI-driven drug discovery at scale. Before that, he spent 27 years at AstraZeneca, most recently as vice president and head of hit discovery. His organization integrated high-throughput screening, computational chemistry, machine learning, virtual screening, and DNA-encoded libraries to deliver high-quality starting points for discovery programs across the company. Garry chaired AstraZeneca’s global chemistry leadership team and led the creation of the augmented drug discovery program, establishing a global strategy for AI-enabled chemistry. Over his career, he has contributed to multiple clinical candidates and a marketed medicine. A chemist by training, Garry holds a PhD and has worked at the interface of medicinal chemistry, computation, and translational science throughout his career. At DaltonTx, he is focused on building next-generation AI-native discovery systems that integrate generative models, decision intelligence, and experimental feedback to accelerate the delivery of high-quality therapeutics.
