Dr. Hamideh Khanbareh is an associate professor in mechanical engineering at the University of Bath, UK. She holds a cum laude master’s degree in aerospace engineering and a PhD in aerospace engineering, both from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands.

Dr. Khanbareh combines theoretical and experimental expertise in the synthesis and characterization of ferroelectric materials. As the leader of the FAME2 (Ferroelectrics for Application in Medical devices, Energy and Environment) research group, she focuses on advancing materials for sensing and energy harvesting. With a proven research track record, leadership experience and an extensive global network, she manages a lab funded by both research councils and industry and supervises three PhD students. Dr. Khanbareh's group collaborates with over 10 international partners and she has delivered numerous invited presentations at prominent international conferences.
