Jawahar Swaminathan, PhD profile page

Jawahar Swaminathan is the Director of Informatics in the Clinical Solutions team. His background is primarily in Population Genomics and Germline Rare Disease. Prior to joining Oxford Nanopore, he managed the DECIPHER Rare Disease database at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and was part of the Population Genomics team at Illumina, managing the Genomics England bioinformatics collaboration and many other large-scale genomics programmes. His primary role is furthering the adoption of Oxford Nanopore sequencing in large-scale projects and the development of tools for challenging medically relevant genes (CMRG).
