Jing Li, PhD profile page

Jing joined WuXi Biology as executive director in 2024 to lead US teams to provide end-to-end biology services and solutions. Prior to this, he worked at PTC Therapeutics as executive director and chief scientific officer at Eternity Bioscience, Inc, Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine US R&D Site. Jing worked at Merck Research Laboratories for fifteen years with various roles and responsibilities. Jing received his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and MB in Medicine from Shanghai Medical University. Jing discovered the novel tumor suppressor gene, PTEN, while he was a post-doctoral fellow at Columbia University. Jing co-authored over fifty scientific and patent publications, including in the journals of Science and Nature Genetics.
